McNary High School, located in Keizer, Oregon, has been a cornerstone of its community for decades. As the alma mater of one of Watson Creative’s executives, the school holds a special place in our history. In a pro bono effort to give back, Watson partnered with McNary to modernize its branding, fostering a stronger sense of identity and pride among students, faculty, and the community.
The rebranding effort included a refreshed logo, updated visual elements, and new communication tools designed to reflect McNary’s values and aspirations. From school signage to event materials, every element was crafted to inspire school spirit and unity.
We originally designed a Celtic-inspired mascot for McNary High School, centered around a male figure, but expanded the concept by introducing a complementary female representation. This addition brought balance and inclusivity to the school's identity, reflecting the diversity and unity of its community.
This partnership not only revitalized McNary’s image but also strengthened its connection to the Keizer community. The new branding celebrates the school’s rich history while positioning it for future success, ensuring that McNary High School remains a source of pride for generations to come.
