For our 2018 Design Week Portland open house event, All Mouth, No Trousers, Watson set out to explore what drives consumer motivation. The conversation centered on how individuals move from low-commitment interactions to long-term brand advocacy, and what role design, communication, and trust play in that journey.

A panel of experts approached the topic from multiple industry perspectives, creating a lively and layered discussion about credibility, engagement, and the gap between stated values and lived experience. The exchange reinforced a central idea: brands are not built through talk alone, but through sustained alignment between message and action.
